Jánska Valley: hikes and walks straight from Liptovský Ján
Jánska Valley is one of the longest valleys on the northern side of the Low Tatras and it starts right in Liptovský Ján. From Hotel ViBee Liptov*** you can set off without a car.
The valley suits gentle walks along the Štiavnica stream as well as full-day hikes along the Low Tatras ridge.
Walks for families
The lower part of the valley is gentle and suitable even with children. The path leads through forest along the stream and you can stop at Stanišovská Cave on the way.
Hikes to the Low Tatras ridge
Marked trails lead from the valley to the Low Tatras ridge, for example towards Ďumbier. These are demanding full-day hikes – check the weather and trail conditions before you go.
Back at ViBee after the hike
After your return, relax in the wooden hot tub or, from mid-October 2026, in the panoramic rooftop sauna included in your stay. The Kaďa thermal spring is 300 metres from the hotel.
